The Shelby County Commission met on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. Those present were Commissioners, Glenn Eagan, Tom Shively, Terry Mefford and County Clerk, Stephanie Bender. 

The Commission reviewed and approved the minutes of the July 6, 2021 meeting by a vote of 3-0 with Glenn, Terry, and Tom voting yes to approve.

911 Supervisor, Lori Miles met with Commission about schedule changes in dispatch.

Auditors were in to ask Commission a few questions and then preform the exit Audit Interview with the Commission. We should have our report on the audit back in a few weeks.

Recorder, Audrey Buzzard submitted her monthly Recorders Report.

Prosecuting Attorney, Jordan Force submitted her monthly report.

Kevin Kattelman with Village of Bethel was in to talk about the American Rescue Act Funds, and projects that Bethel would like to do.  Commission called Brian Untiedt with MoDot about Hwy 15 through Bethel and Shelbyville.
They also talked about the Route N project.  As soon as water reseeds the project will move forward.

Collector, John Chinn updated the Commission on the progress in his office.

Commission checked County Roads 343 and 316 with culvert problems.  They also checked roads 337 and 206.

The Commission adjourned and will meet again on Monday, July 12, 2021.
