The 2019 Miss Shelby County Queen contest will be held on Monday, July 8th at 7pm at the grandstand on the Shelby County fairgrounds.
MISS SHELBY COUNTY FAIR QUEEN CONTESTANTS
HAILEY DOUGLASS – a senior at South Shelby high school. Hailey is involved with the FFA & FCCLA and is planning to attend the University of Missouri majoring in Ag business. Her talent presentation will be a speech about growing up in Shelby County.
HOPE CHANDLER – a senior at North Shelby high school. hope is involved in FBLA & FCCLA and is planning to attend a university to pursue a career in the cosmetic chemistry field. Her talent presentation will be a speech.
JUNIOR MISS SHELBY COUNTY FAIR QUEEN CONTESTANTS
LANCING MOORE – a sophomore at South Shelby high school. Lancing was awarded the outstanding citizen award and the FFA chapter scholarship award. She will be performing a bassoon solo for her talent presentation.
AMILLYA SIZEMORE – a freshman at South Shelby high school. Amillya was awarded the Bradley citizenship award along was invited to participate in the honor band. She will be singing for her talent presentation.
CIARA TAYLOR – a 7th grader at North Shelby middle school. Ciara is a member of the Lentner Pioneer 4-H club and was one of the top 3 essayists for the D.A.R.E program. She will be performing a cheer/baton twirling routine for her talent.
LARISSA LARRICK – a 8th grader at South Shelby middle school. Larissa has received top scholastic awards at school and as a 4-H member received many awards and honors with her 4-H projects. Larissa will be singing for her talent presentation.
VERONICA GRAWE – a 7th grader at South Shelby middle school. Veronica’s future plans is to study animal science.
She will be demonstrating trap shooting for her talent presentation.
