In the second of a three-part series looking at the Shelby County R-IV School district campuses, we will take a look at the Clarence facility.
Control Technologies and Solutions (CTS), a group based out of St. Louis, identifies deficiencies throughout the district and gives its leaders an idea of what kind of costs they would be looking at for improvements.
The Clarence Elementary campus had several things noted, as did the Shelbina Elementary campus, which was discussed in part one, which appeared in last week’s edition of the paper.
Just like the Shelbina Elementary, the Clarence facility needs improvement with the Geo-Thermal with DDS controls, vertical well field and new HVAC with ventilation in all spaces, including gyms, offices, hallways, and classrooms.
