The remains of the structure were taken down by Hartgrove Excavating in the late afternoon. There will be much more on this in next week's issue of the Shelbina Weekly.

| Improvements Needed at Shelbina Elementary
A representative of Control Technologies and Solutions (CTS), a group based out of St. Louis, recently toured the Shelby County R-IV School District campuses. The purpose of the tour was to identify deficiencies and to do a future need analysis of the district. A preliminary list of future needs and potential costs was formed as a result of the study. We will break the results of the findings into a three-part series starting with the Shelbina Elementary facility, followed by the Clarence facility in next week’s edition and the South Shelby facility in two weeks. CTS specializes in K-12 infrastructure improvements, in-house engineering, project development, building automation/security and project management. CTS has retrofitted over 300 K-12 facilities in the State of Missouri since 2000. The company’s expertise is in facility evaluation. For the full story, see this week’s issue of the Shelbina Weekly.
