Public Comment Four people spoke during the public comment portion of the meeting. Thad Requet spoke first, followed by Audrey Gough and David Ridgely, all in support of Superintendent Rick Roberts. Jim Foster then spoke to all sides on the importance of working together for the betterment of the district. Somewhere between 60 and 70 people from the public, including board candidate Brian Threlkeld and Gary Wear, were present. Foster said he has never felt that he couldn’t talk to any of the board members or administrators in the room. “I have a vested interest in each person at this table...and you. Don’t let the rumor mill ruin this school. I think we can all work together and I think the communications have been repaired,” Foster said.
